Strong Life Training, a brand new privately owned gym located in White Center, WA, is seeking an experienced Fitness Coach to join our team. As a Coach at Strong Life Training, you will play a pivotal role in developing structured programming for group training and personal training clients with specific fitness goals. If you are passionate about fitness, have a track record of coaching successful group training classes, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Coach our evening group training sessions 4pm, 5pm, 6pm (M-Th) with potential to grow to more hours and earlier hours.
- Coach and lead group training classes, ensuring a safe, effective, and engaging workout experience for all participants.
- Collaborate with gym owners to create and plan group training workouts, ensuring variety, progression, and alignment with client needs.
- Manage and oversee private coaching clients, providing personalized guidance, support, and accountability to help them achieve their fitness goals.
- Conduct fitness assessments and consultations for new clients, developing customized training plans tailored to their individual needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training environment, adhering to all gym policies and procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices in fitness training, continuously enhancing your knowledge and skills.
- Assist with gym operations as needed, including member check-ins, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the fitness industry, with a proven track record of coaching group training classes and personal training clients.
- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification from a nationally recognized organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM).
- Strong knowledge of exercise science, physiology, nutrition, and fitness principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire clients of all fitness levels.
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver effective, results-driven training programs for diverse clientele.
- Passion for fitness and a commitment to helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and contribute to a positive, supportive gym culture.
- CPR/AED certification is required, or willingness to obtain upon hiring.
