We are seeking a Front Desk Manager who is enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and experienced in managing front desk operations within the fitness industry. As the Front Desk Manager at Strong Life Training, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth gym operations, exceptional customer service, and a welcoming environment for our members.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet members and guests with a friendly and positive attitude, addressing their inquiries and providing information about gym services, classes, and membership options.
  • Additional Compensation: Opportunity to earn extra compensation through every new membership
  • Scheduling: Coordinate and manage class schedules, trainer appointments, and facility bookings to ensure efficient use of gym resources and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Member + Client Management: Process new memberships, handle membership inquiries, and assist with membership renewals and cancellations. Get an understanding of all clients goals. Periodically following up with clients and their goals and update their assigned trainers.
  • Financial Transactions: Handle cash and card transactions for memberships, retail sales, and other services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial procedures.
  • Facility Maintenance: Monitor cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and amenities to maintain a professional and inviting atmosphere.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with trainers, instructors, and management to coordinate events, promotions, and member engagement activities.
  • Problem Resolution: Address member concerns, complaints, and feedback promptly and effectively, striving to achieve positive outcomes and maintain member satisfaction.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties such as data entry, inventory management, and create/post content to social media and newsletter blog accounts.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a fitness center or related industry.
  • Management Skills: Proven ability to manage schedules, coordinate activities, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with members, staff, and vendors.
  • Fitness Passion: Strong passion for fitness and wellness, with knowledge of different training modalities and gym operations.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using computer software and fitness management systems for scheduling, billing, and reporting.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and foster a positive work culture.
