Overview

We’re hiring an Account Strategist to lead the charge on high-impact marketing programs for our portfolio of private equity-backed, multi-location healthcare clients. In this role, you'll go beyond account management—you’ll serve as a strategic advisor and marketing quarterback, responsible for developing tailored growth plans, guiding execution, and building lasting client trust. If you know your way around both a marketing funnel and a boardroom, this one's for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client relationships as the primary strategic and operational contact for 4–6 healthcare organizations.
  • Understand each client’s business goals, market dynamics, and growth priorities, and use those to shape custom marketing strategies.
  • Develop and present integrated marketing plans across digital, content, and offline channels—with clear KPIs and budget allocation guidance.
  • Collaborate with in-house experts in media, creative, web, and analytics to ensure cohesive execution and high performance.
  • Monitor campaign performance, extract insights, and deliver data-driven recommendations during regular client strategy calls.
  • Build trust with physician leaders, COOs, and PE sponsors by offering clear, confident counsel and demonstrating business fluency.
  • Guide new initiative launches (e.g., new location openings, service line expansions, M&A rollouts) from planning through implementation.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and contribute to new business proposals or client upsells.
  • Act as the voice of the client internally to ensure our teams are aligned on priorities, tone, and messaging.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a client-facing role at an agency or consultancy.
  • Experience developing and communicating marketing strategy (not just executing someone else's).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to own client relationships and be seen as a trusted marketing advisor.
  • Healthcare experience preferred, especially with multi-site provider groups or PE-backed organizations. Other multi-site experience, franchise experience, etc. also okay.
  • Confident communicator—able to write, present, and advise with clarity and authority.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple client programs simultaneously.
  • Proficient in marketing analytics and performance reporting tools; comfortable using data to drive decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree required; relevant certifications (HubSpot, Google, Meta, etc.) are a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with marketing during physician recruitment, acquisitions, or clinic launches.
  • Experience with patient journey mapping and conversion funnel optimization.
  • Comfort with attribution modeling and revenue contribution analysis.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Unlimited PTO (we don’t micromanage hours—we measure impact)
  • Company holiday break between Christmas and New Year
  • Company-issued laptop and home office setup
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Eligible for 10% annual bonus, paid monthly
  • 401(k) with up to 4% match
  • Paid parental leave
  • Commission on account growth and upsells

Salary

$100,000 - $150,000 per year
