As a Human Resources Staffing/Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and carrying out the full range of recruitment, placement and related management advisory services for assigned organizations.

Your typical work assignments may include the following:

• Conduct information gathering, analysis, and problem resolution for a wide variety of difficult but conventional issues and problems.
• Explain personnel policies, processes and procedures to program managers and staff in terms of support to the Agency's and program objectives and provides staffing and classification guidance and services to a wide variety of complex and unique Regional and HQ organizations with diverse missions.
• Provide reviews, analysis, and technical guidance to management in all areas of staffing, recruitment, placement (merit promotion, delegated examining, in-service placement actions, various hiring authorities, special employment programs, and other employment matters), and associated personnel processing.
• Continuously monitors the status of recruitment, staffing, and classification actions in various stages and in automated HR systems, and ensures actions are entered properly.
• Review actions for quality assurance; identifies errors and takes corrective action.

Requirements

Must have at least 5 years of Federal human resources experience related to the work of the position.

Experience includes providing guidance and assistance to management and employees on human resources issues; Interpreting and applying laws, regulations. and policies pertaining to staffing and recruitment to internal placement, merit promotion, and delegation hiring examining hiring; Using established procedures to conduct job analysis; Determining applicant qualifications; Identifying problems and recommending appropriate actions to management; Offering advice, suggestions and/or alternative staffing options or solutions to both applicants and managers; and Providing guidance on vacancy announcements. Researching and gathering information in support of position classification or position management studies. This experience must include use of applicant tracking systems used by the federal government. 

Note: Your resume must demonstrate 5+ years of experience providing recruitment/staffing support to Federal agencies.  

Conditions of employment:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
• Subject to a 1-year probationary period.
• Must participate in Direct Deposit of Pay.
• Must be able to function in a remote work environment.
• DE Certification is highly preferred but not required.
• Must be able to obtain DE certification within 3 months of employment.
