We are looking for an individual to join our team as a User Experience Designer. This person will work with cross-functional teams to plan, ideate, and deliver impactful experiences that fulfill the needs of our nation’s Independent grocers. This role is critical to maintaining our competitive advantage as one of the easiest to use grocery automation platforms in the industry.

In this role you will:
- Deliver work that is user-friendly, aesthetically engaging, scalable, and produces results
- Lead the design process for new experiences and enhancing the design of existing solutions
- Quickly iterate on multiple design solutions and work through the fine details that are required to produce memorable experiences
- Manage and extend the Storewise Design System that includes reusable components, patterns, and guidelines
- Perform user research by visiting stores and interviewing grocers to better understand the obstacles they face
- Work alongside engineers and product managers through all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Create design assets (e.g. wireframes, mockups, prototypes) that effectively communicate design ideas and guide development activities
Requirements:
- A portfolio of work demonstrating experience delivering great design solutions
- Experience designing products for mobile and desktop environments
- Fluent working with design/prototyping tools that allow you to accurately convey your design vision
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Enjoy working in a collaborative, cross-functional team and working with developers to make your designs come to life
- Experience working in an Agile-based environment
- A good understanding of HTML and CSS is preferred
