Storewise Inc. Senior Marketing Manager/Director of Marketing Overland Park, KS · Full time

We are looking for someone who is highly strategic and adept at navigating the complexity of B2B marketing while able to provide strategic-level recommendations to senior teams and stakeholders with clear point of view, driven by data. This person must have a passion for B2B marketing, understand and have experience in integrated marketing campaigns. We need someone who gets our SEM can be combined with SEO to truly maximize all our efforts. The goal is to generate coast to coast awareness of Storewise across a specific niche market (grocery). This position can scale to Director of Marketing based on performance and would lead the marketing team. You’ll ensure our customers’ voice is reflected in value propositions, and that we have a differentiated message that appeals to the small business and enterprise segments across our base. You will partner closely with product management, sales, and other teams to launch new solutions that will delight our customers. The goal is to help Storewise achieve growth objectives by generating leads to support Sales pipeline.

Description

What you will do: 

  • Own the marketing strategy: Craft an innovative strategy that drives and supports our growth with intention. Develop strategic marketing plans with clear objectives, market opportunities, strategies, and tactics at a brand and product level. Ensure it is data driven. 
  • Develop product positioning and messaging – Lead customer persona and segmentation efforts. Deliver differentiated positioning, claims, social proofs, and other artifacts for retail supporting technology products targeting new and established seller. 
  • Generate Pipeline: Work in tandem with Sales to generate leads frequently and consistently within the total addressable market. Driving inbound leads is a must. 
  • Work fast delivering digital collateral and air cover: Lead with messaging and support. Marketing is proactive, running ahead of Sales efforts. Work closely with Product to ensure consistent communication. 
  • Document, communicate, and act on customer insights – Understand our customers goals, difficulties, and their buying journey to develop critical customer insights through dedicated research. 
  • Generate and communicate market intelligence – Be an expert on competitor insights, market trends and use these insights to build differentiated value for the outcomes we are driving. 
  • Practice cross-functional leadership - Build strong relationships with product, sales, engineering, and operation leaders to drive product launches and cross-functional initiatives. Routinely prioritize initiatives based on potential impact to the business and resource requirements 
  • Be cost conscience: Manage and adhere to budgets spanning staffing, production, media and vendors 
  • Run events: There’s numerous events throughout the year that require planning and management.
