In this role you will:
- Lead cross-functional teams to guide product development and deliver intuitive solutions to Independent grocers
- Deeply care about the experience of our customers, carefully think through their interactions/behavior
- Inform your intuition through direct conversations and onsite visits with customers and partners
- Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and capabilities of our platform to customers, partners, and coworkers
- Develop and present training and support materials as needed
- Be a systems thinker that is comfortable thinking through workflows, anticipating points of failure, and working to make processes robust
- Conduct competitive analyses and deliver positions on how to effectively capture the market for your products
- Provide coaching and mentoring to other departments within the company, including your own Product team, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver against product revenue goals and drive initiatives from inception to launch
- Build meaningful relationships with customers and industry partners
- Engage in healthy conflict to ensure your opinions are heard while working towards the best possible outcome
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in product management with demonstrated success in a SaaS company, including 4+ years of leading a team
- Self-starter who proactively identifies opportunities and works across teams to generate and execute solutions
- Known for taking ownership of the outcomes and staying accountable to actions
- Deep empathy for customers
- Intellectually curious with a need to understand why
- Proven track record delivering elegant, pleasant, productive user-facing products at scale
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Obsession over UX, good design, and the ability to use products across multiple form factors
- A data-driven, customer-centric approach where you’re not afraid to admit “I don’t know, but I can’t wait to find out!”
