In addition, the Demand Generation Manager is responsible for Marketing Operations, including managing KPIs, and reporting performance to the senior leadership team.


Founded in 2018, Storewise, a B2B retail SaaS provider, serves the important, trillion-dollar retail food industry. It’s a fight between your local neighborhood grocer (aka Independent retailers) and big box stores; a modern-day David vs Goliath.  

The Independent retailer (“Independent”) is a family business spanning generations, collectively generating $255B+ in revenues per year. They’re staples in their communities and excel in delivering fresh, quality food and outstanding customer service at competitive prices.  

Over the past few decades, technology-led retailers like Walmart, Amazon, and Dollar Stores have taken market share from Independents. However, Independents are resilient and are fighting back leveraging years of industry domain know-how and embracing technology.

Storewise is seeking a culture first, data-driven Director of Demand Generation to build and execute marketing programs generating new revenue. In addition, the Demand Generation Manager is responsible for Marketing Operations, including managing KPIs, and reporting performance to the senior leadership team.


In this role you will:

  • Plan, develop and manage the end-to-end demand generation process, including identifying prospects and target markets that align with our go to market strategy and product market fit with the goal of delivering incremental revenue through qualified inbound and outbound leads
  • Meet sales targets and revenue goals as set by the company, tracking sales performance, and making adjustments as needed
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize campaign performance and return on investment (ROI)
  • Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities to set-up campaigns, iterate to achieve objective and key results (OKRs)
  • Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and partners to leverage their expertise, resources, and technologies for enhanced demand generation outcomes
  • Perform project management showing ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, such as building new processes and dismantling current processes that no longer fit
  • Work with the Head of Revenue to proactively improve workflows, remove barriers, and ensure a world-class lead generation process
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, potential opportunities, and competitive challenges. This may involve analyzing data, gathering customer feedback, monitoring industry news and trends, and developing resources that BDR’s can leverage along the way
  • Implement qualification frameworks by developing assets, designing Zoho and supporting tools with our internal technical teams to then operationalizing it whilst the ongoing management


We’re seeking the following experience:

  • 7+ years in B2B SaaS Demand Generation with a track record of growth & success
  • Experience with campaign strategy and ideation
  • Strategic data analysis (funnel metrics analysis, campaign analysis, ROMI/ROAS)
  • Experience with campaign development and execution
  • Ability to optimize marketing tech stack development and management
  • Deep understanding of demand gen tactics (paid, organic, etc.)
  • Own marketing budget.
  • Make data-driven decisions.
  • Forecast accurately.
  • Have a passion for navigating ambiguity.

Location: Kansas City preferable, remote considered for right candidate
