About Steam Inventors –
Steam Inventors is an after-school STEAM Educational Service for students aged Pre K- 8th Grade. We bridge the gap between current classroom and technology progression. We offer two distinct programs in STEAM educational space: Nutty Scientist that teaches physical science through drama-based shows and experience the joy of experiments in a safe laboratory and STEAM Inventors a physical facility offering an immersive learning environment for the students to play, learn, connect, and innovate with emerging technologies such as drones, AR/VR, robotics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity to name a few. Two offerings together will boost the interest of the children and the community.

STEAM Inventors is hiring for Nutty Scientists programming for after-school. Hours Tuesday 1:30pm- 5:00pm and Wednesday 1:30-5:00pm through Thursday 1:30pm-5:00pm. (Tuesday and Thursdays flexible time). Some weekends for Birthday parties as needed.
We are looking for people who are bursting with energy, can improvise, and can exaggerate their gestures, expressions, and voice to create a fun experience for our students. We play, make noise, and joke around to make learning fun!
Lessons and materials are provided for all programming. Scripts are provided for all activities, so energy and presentation are more important than prior knowledge. Students will be in groups of up to 20. Any additional training will be provided and compensated.

Required Qualifications -
· Passionate about working with children and teens.
· Extroverted personality, Showmanship
· Have a positive attitude and sense of humor
· Proficiency in elementary level physics, chemistry, biology, environment science
· Responsible and dedicated to their work
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience with youth
· Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications: -
· Teaching or tutoring experience.
· Camp experience.
· Acting/Theatre
·
$20 - $25 per hour
