Starbright is a provider of wood products. Our company has been operating internationally for three years and has seen significant revenue growth. We outgrew our current infrastructure and processes in three years and are now ready to take the next step in scaling up our organization. Therefore, we are hiring a sales representative to join our existing high-performance team.


The sales representative's overarching responsibility is to sell products, meet customer needs, and obtain orders from existing and potential sales outlets. Ensure that the customer is satisfied and well-cared for when making a purchase and provide the organization with customer feedback for improvement.


Responsibilities:

  • Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers
  • Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques
  • Recommends changes in products, services, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred
  • Over 3+ years of industry sales experience in the building supplies industry
  • Proven success rate above quotas
  • Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
  • Familiarity with office software, CRM, and phone systems
  • Strong in customer service, meeting sales goals, closing skills, territory management, prospecting skills, negotiation, self-confidence, product knowledge, presentation skills, and client relationships


Salary

$50,000 - $80,000 per year
