Registered Dietitian 

Stanton Nutrition Counseling (Evansville, Indiana) is expanding to add an experienced Registered Dietitian (RD / RDN) to provide nutritional counseling and medical nutrition therapy in a growing, insurance-based group private practice. We are a weight-inclusive practice and provide evidence-based treatment for clients experiencing eating disorders and disordered eating behaviors as well as other health conditions. An ideal candidate for this position would have experience treating eating disorders/disordered eating behaviors and be well-informed in Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size (HAES) principles.

Requirements for this position include:

• Active Registered Dietitian through CDR
• Resident of Indiana /able to be licensed with good standing
• Exceptional communication and counseling skills
• Able to train in EHR/scheduling system.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Counseling clients by listening to their needs, applying motivational interviewing when necessary, developing and communicating realistic goals, monitoring progress, and adjusting as necessary.
• Collaboration with other healthcare providers including, but not limited to, therapists, primary care providers, and specialists.
• Maintaining appropriate and timely documentation of client services provided as well as communication records with other healthcare providers
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
• Participation in group mentorship for skills enhancement
