Job Description
Standard Wellness Maryland is seeking a highly organized, adaptable, and creative Marketing & Community Coordinator to support retail marketing execution, community engagement, events, brand consistency, and operational coordination across our vertically integrated operations.
This role will work closely with leadership to help execute marketing initiatives, support in-store and community activations, coordinate projects, assist with content creation, and help maintain strong communication and organization across departments.
This is a part-time hybrid employee position designed to support ongoing marketing and community initiatives while helping strengthen internal coordination, brand consistency, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Support
- Assist with the development and coordination of marketing materials across digital and print formats
- Support in-store signage, promotional materials, and retail campaigns
- Assist with light design work using Canva or similar tools
- Help maintain visual and messaging consistency across customer touchpoints
- Support organization of marketing calendars, timelines, and campaign deliverables
Community & Event Coordination
- Support planning and execution of in-store and community events
- Coordinate vendor communications and event logistics
- Assist with partnership outreach and relationship management
- Help organize team activations, wellness initiatives, and customer experiences
Content & Social Media Support
- Assist with gathering in-store content, photography, and videos
- Support social media coordination and campaign execution
- Assist with promotional messaging and communication efforts
- Help coordinate content needs between internal teams and external partners
Operational & Administrative Support
- Help organize marketing assets, vendor information, and project timelines
- Assist with branded merchandise and promotional inventory organization
- Support meeting coordination, notes, and follow-up action items where needed
- Help maintain organized communication and workflows across departments
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams to support business priorities, including:
- Retail Team – promotional campaigns, events, customer engagement, and in-store execution
- Cultivation Team – product launches, educational support, and internal coordination
- Leadership and Corporate Team – partnerships, activations, project support, and strategic initiatives
- Marketing Partners – coordination with external agencies, vendors, and creative partners
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, events, hospitality, retail, community engagement, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills
- Experience working in fast-paced or startup-style environments preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Working knowledge of Canva, social media platforms, and content coordination
- Familiarity of cannabis and retail operational systems such as Dutchie, Alpine IQ, Metrc, mobile POS platforms, and related dispensary technologies preferred
- Ability to analyze and interpret operational and sales data to support decision-making, KPI tracking, and business growth initiatives
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms, including Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Comfortable creating reports, reviewing spreadsheets, communicating across teams, and managing operational follow-through through digital tools and project tracking systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities simultaneously
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset
- Comfortable supporting both operational and creative initiatives

Role Structure
- Position Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt Employee
- Hours: Approximately 20–25 hours per week
- Compensation: $25/hour
- Location: Baltimore-based or nearby preferred; hybrid role with in-store/event support required
- Reports To: Head of People, Retail & Organizational Strategy
Administrative Requirements
- Employee onboarding will include:

- Completion of onboarding and compliance training
