We are seeking a full-time COA Research Associate II (early career level) who is fluent in both Spanish and English to join our expanding team of patient-centered outcomes specialists, health psychology researchers, and behavioral scientists. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with strong qualitative research skills and an interest in applying those skills in an industry setting. We are looking for someone with relevant background experience, either through an advanced degree program (e.g., master’s or PhD program in public health, anthropology, psychology, sociology, or a related health discipline) or relevant work experience.
As a COA Research Associate II, you will provide support on various project types, collaborating closely with Project Consultants, Lead/Director, and Project Manager. Your responsibilities may include conducting targeted literature reviews, developing qualitative research documents (e.g., protocols, interview guides, and ethics submissions), conducting qualitative interviews with patients, caregivers, and patient representatives, analyzing data, and preparing reports and manuscripts. You may also be involved in tasks related to patient engagement/behavior change and internal projects as needed.
· Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in a relevant field (e.g., public health, anthropology, psychology, medical sociology, or related discipline); master’s or doctorate preferred
· Fluent in English and Spanish; comfortable conducting interviews and research in both languages
· Demonstrated experience in desk-based and qualitative research and related technical skills
· Experience in developing research materials, such as search strategies, interview guides, protocols, reports, codebooks, etc.
· Familiarity with the drug development process
· Strong scientific writing skills
· Willingness to travel (domestically or internationally) as needed for research or meetings (anticipated travel time less than 10-15%)
