Product Manager, Multimodal Solutions


As the product manager for multimodal solutions at Sportworks, you will lead the product portfolio for bike parking hardware and digital product innovation -- lifecycle management and business growth. You’ll manage and elevate our established products while developing new solutions to meet the complex needs of our customers (including end-user cyclists) across the globe.


Here’s what you’ll be driving:


1. Strategic Growth and Product Development

  • Inspire and align cross-functional teams around growth objectives, driving projects forward with vision, creativity and cohesion.
  • Create innovative products and business models that proactively meet emerging customer needs -- solving problems customers may not yet recognize.
  • Use your creativity and curiosity to generate fresh ideas for features, user experiences, customer workflows, new markets, and business models.


2. Market Insight and Business Model Expertise

  • Develop solutions that address real customer needs and achieve profitability and adoption targets.
  • Build a multi-year product roadmap that anticipates market trends and positions Sportworks ahead of the curve.


3. Develop and drive execution of a world-class, winning product portfolio

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from continuous improvement and positioning to performance tracking and end-of-life management and portfolio management.
  • Balance technical competencies with a strong customer and problem-solving focus, driving solutions that enhance user experience and market relevance.


4. Leadership Characteristics and Cultural Alignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle product management: Oversee a world-class product and service portfolio that drives adoption of multimodal transportation – ranging from bike parking infrastructure to digital solutions.
  • Lean development champion: Promote lean product development best practices across the organization.
  • P&L management: Drive profitability and financial health across product lines.
  • Strategic planning: Lead long-term planning processes to achieve winning product and portfolio strategies, differentiated market positions, and long-term growth.
  • Roadmap development: Maintain a customer-centered, multi-year strategic roadmap.
  • Commercial strategies: Design strategies to increase product adoption and profitability. Experience building successful SaaS business models preferred.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Support marketing and product planning to shape the buying journey, generate demand, and craft messaging for decision-makers.
  • Performance tracking: Analyze metrics to focus on continuous improvement and sustainable growth.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences, marketing, engineering, or computer science; Advanced degree / MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product management or associated discipline.
  • Skills: Proficiency with ERP and Microsoft Office Suite; effective communication and analytical skills.
  • Mindset: Adaptable, independent, and focused on market insights and customer value.
  • Data-driven decision-making abilities: Experienced user of analytics tools for understanding user behavior, product success, and market needs.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel for customer and partner engagements and trade shows (approx. 10-12 trips/year).
  • Capable of lifting and transporting demonstration equipment and standing for prolonged periods at events.

Salary

$130,000 - $160,000 per year
