Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Water Spiders, logistics coordinators, and warehouse personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Lean Manufacturing and Process Optimization:
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing and logistics strategies to optimize material flow, minimize waste, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and lead cross-functional teams in implementing solutions.
Material Flow and Inventory Management:
- Oversee the movement, storage, and organization of materials, ensuring that supplies are readily available, properly labeled, and easily accessible.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure just-in-time material delivery, efficient production scheduling, and accurate inventory control.
Logistics and Transportation Coordination:
- Manage the end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, shipping, receiving, and distribution of goods.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Demand Planning and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with sales, production, and procurement teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and production plans.
- Ensure that inventory levels align with anticipated demand and production requirements.
Data Analysis and Performance Metrics:
- Utilize advanced data analysis tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material flow, inventory turnover, transportation efficiency, and on-time deliveries.
- Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate performance metrics and improvement recommendations to senior management.
Quality Control and Compliance:
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that materials and products meet established standards and specifications.
- Lead investigations into quality-related issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous quality improvement.
Equipment Management and Safety:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of material handling equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and conducting regular equipment inspections.
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols.
Strategic Planning and Collaboration:
- Contribute and participate in strategic plans for warehouse operations and logistics, aligning with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize end-to-end supply chain processes and ensure seamless material flow.
Training and Development:
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and effectiveness in material management and logistics.

Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in materials management, inventory control, logistics coordination, and lean manufacturing, with a proven track record of successful process optimization.
- Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams.
- Familiar with using advanced inventory management systems, lean principles, and data analysis tools.
- Experience in logistics and transportation coordination, including familiarity with freight forwarding and carrier management.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, equipment operation, and warehouse management.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Certification in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management is a plus.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Be flexible, adaptable, able and willing to modify activities and direction with an ever-changing business environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Able left up to 10 bounds regularly, and 20 pounds occasionally

- This position requires the employee to be on-site at our Woodinville, WA office. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.
