We are seeking a dependable, organized, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our Tesson Ferry office. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for patients while supporting the daily administrative needs of the clinic.


Job Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and assist with the check-in and check-out process
  • Answer incoming phone calls and route messages appropriately
  • Make appointment reminder calls
  • Assist patients with scheduling and rescheduling appointments
  • Verify and update patient demographics and contact information
  • Collect required forms, identification, and verify all information
  • Send referrals and supporting medical documentation
  • Communicate professionally with patients, providers, law offices, and outside medical facilities
  • Maintain an organized and professional front office and waiting area
  • Assist providers and staff with additional administrative and office duties as needed
  • Follow HIPAA requirements when accessing or sharing patient information

Qualifications

  • Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable answering phones and communicating with patients
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Experience with medical scheduling or electronic medical records is a plus

Salary

$20 - $24 per hour
