Job Summary
Speech Bee Speech Therapy, Inc. is looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow to join our team for a temporary maternity leave coverage. This position is for a caseload of 25 children, primarily early intervention with some school-age clients.
Dates: Late March/early April-August, approximately 12 weeks, with the possibility of staying on longer-term and building your own caseload.
Location: This caseload is located primarily in the communities of Poway, Sabre Springs, and Mira Mesa. There is an opportunity to build a full-time caseload in your area after the temporary coverage ends.

Speech Bee Speech Therapy, Inc. is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team!
About the Position:
As an Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions for infants and toddlers with speech and language delays or disorders. You will work closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans that promote communication skills and overall language development.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments in children aged 0-3 years. Some opportunities to work in-home with older pediatric clients are available for interested SLPs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals based on assessment results and collaborate with families and caregivers.
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions
- Approach therapy sessions using a variety of techniques and modalities, including play-based approaches, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, and assistive technology.
- Monitor progress, adjust therapy plans as necessary, and document outcomes accurately and timely.
- Educate parents, caregivers, and other team members on strategies to support children's communication development in everyday activities.
- Collaborate effectively with other professionals, such as occupational therapists, physical therapists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and advancements in the field of early intervention speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred. *Strong CF Candidates will be considered*
- Experience working with infants and toddlers in an early intervention setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools, standardized tests, and evaluation procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and other professionals. Strong parent/family coaching skills are desirable.
- Compassionate, patient, and supportive approach when working with children and their families.
