The Behavior Therapist/RBT will deliver clinical behavior reduction programs and clinical instruction based on the principals of Applied Behavior Analysis to clients of Spectrum Solutions Therapy Inc., in the home, community, center, and school settings. The Behavior Therapist/RBT will collect data on skill acquisition programs and behaviors throughout each session. The Behavior Therapist/RBT will be responsible for reporting to the Clinical Supervisor with any programming concerns, new behaviors, or parent concerns within 24 hours.

Description

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide Direct ABA services 1:1 to clients (2 yrs-21 yrs.) with Autism and related developmental disorders in the home, school, community, and social skills settings under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor and/or Program Supervisor and utilizing the principals of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Implement the ABA skill acquisition goals prescribed by the overseeing clinical supervisor to decrease maladaptive behaviors and teach appropriate replacement skills
  • Implement the ABA strategies prescribed by the clinical supervisor to improve communication, adaptive, safety, and social skills.
  • Collect reliable and appropriate data based on the individualized program prescribed by the Clinical Supervisor
  • Maintain client binder in the home by updating program data sheets within required timeframe
  • Provide parent training to families based on the individualized program prescribed by the Clinical Supervisor
  • Maintain and acquire ABA knowledge and skills by attending monthly clinic meetings
  • Document notes promptly and collect parent/guardian signature at the end of every session
  • Maintain client confidentiality based on HIPAA guidelines
  • Login daily to Accupointmed.com to check the status of prior sessions and upcoming schedule
  • Responsible for communicating via bloom text and all emails within 24 hours
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment
  • Abide by all company policies and procedures
  • Openly and honestly communicate with supervisors and Human Resources

  • This is a part-time 15+ hours a week (90-day probationary period). Potential of growing into full-time status.
  • Must be able to work afternoons (330 pm and on minimum 3 weekdays) (15 hours or more) Weekend hours are available


Basic and Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work 15+ hours a week following a 90-day probationary period with the potential of taking on full-time status
  • Must be able to work afternoons (3:30pm and after) a minimum of three days a week
  • Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended period
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be willing and able to hold/transport and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP)
  • Must be physically present at the assigned job location on-time
  • Must have reliable phone access with internet capability
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing and bale to travel between different job sites within 25 miles of your home address
  • Must have valid California Driver’s License and insurance in good standing

Salary

$17 - $25 per hour
