What will my job include?

As a frontend engineer at Spear AI, you’ll be expected to:

  • Develop beautiful frontend applications
  • Take features from concept to code
  • Write documentation and tests
  • Review and provide feedback on the work of other engineers
  • Have fun :)

What experience do I need?

  • At least two years of professional experience working with React
  • Extensive experience working with HTML/CSS/JS
  • Experience managing complex application state
  • Experience with REST or GraphQL
  • Experience with Git/GitHub

  • Experience with Next.js
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Experience with AWS and/or cloud infrastructure

The hiring process

Our hiring process is as follows:

  • Initial video call with VP Engineering
  • Short FizzBuzz take-home assessment (<30 min)
  • Short Frontend take-home assessment (<1 hour)
  • Follow-up video call with engineer and CEO


$95,000 - $145,000 per year
