Spay Illinois Pet Well Clinic is a nonprofit veterinary clinic on a mission to remove the financial barriers to veterinary care by making it accessible and affordable for everyone. Located in the southwest Chicago suburb of Lisle, Illinois, we operate a high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter center and a wellness clinic. Spay Illinois believes people love their pets and want the best for them. With this daily mindset, we exist to serve and share information with pet owners in a non-judgmental, respectful way.

Paws for A Cause Vet Care is a mission-driven, nonprofit, full-service veterinary organization working to redefine what accessible veterinary care looks like in our communities.


We believe pets are family, and access to veterinary care should never depend solely on income, geography, or circumstance.

We are building one of the Midwest’s most innovative nonprofit veterinary care models — and we are looking for veterinarians who want to practice great medicine and make a meaningful community impact.


We are growing and looking for veterinarians who want to combine excellent medical care, strong team culture, and meaningful community impact.

Our team currently includes 6 full-time and 2 part-time veterinarians, and we are actively recruiting 2–3 additional veterinarians to support our growth.


Our new 16,000 sq. ft. hospital features specialized Dental, Advanced Surgery, HQHVSN, and General Practice departments.


We welcome veterinarians who want to practice in all departments, and those who might prefer to just work in one department.

What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care

• Collaborate closely with technicians, CSRs, and leadership

• Practice client communication rooted in empathy and education

• Support efficient, high-quality workflows that reduce burnout

Schedule

Full-Time: We offer 4 day and 5-day work-weeks-You choose

Part-Time: We have part-time openings too (flexible hours)


Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD)

• Illinois Veterinary License (or ability to obtain)

• DEA License (or ability to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Comfort working in efficient, high-volume or fast-paced settings

• Passion for community-focused veterinary medicine

Compensation

Salary Range: Full-Time $120,000 – $145,000 depending on experience
