We are looking for a Data Engineer or Data Scientist with expertise in data architecture, analysis, and machine learning to join our team.

We are seeking a Data Engineer or Data Scientist with experience in data ingestion, analysis, and machine learning to join our team. In this role, you will work on high-impact projects, collaborating across teams to build data pipelines, develop models, and support advanced analytics that drive strategic decisions for our Federal clients.


A security clearance is preferred for this position.


Responsibilities:

  • Data Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data infrastructure, with a focus on Databricks for data processing and analytics.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct deep data analysis and generate insights to solve complex problems in DoD and commercial environments.
  • Model Development: Build, deploy, and optimize machine learning models for predictive analytics, risk assessment, and operational improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, analysts, and project managers, to align on project objectives and ensure data integrity.
  • Data Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Qlik and other visualization platforms to communicate findings to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure that all data solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory standards, particularly in the Federal sector.


Qualifications:

  • Security clearance is preferred for this role to align with Federal project requirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Scientist.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R, with experience in big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); Databricks experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, data mining, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, with a preference for Qlik and other similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with data security and regulatory requirements in Federal and DoD environments is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
