Spacecraft Product Lab is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Sales Account Manager to generate new business and manage custom product projects from initial conversation through final delivery. This role will focus primarily on cut-and-sew, decoration, as well as custom projects—with the goal of turning successful projects into recurring client relationships. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and taking ownership of every detail needed to bring a creative idea to life. This position will play an important role in developing new clients, growing existing accounts, and identifying opportunities that can become meaningful long-term business.

Description

What You’ll Do

  • Develop new business for custom apparel, cut-and-sew products, decoration, and related merchandise.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and proactively pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Build relationships with brands, businesses, agencies, distributors, and other prospective clients.
  • Identify each client’s goals, budget, quantities, timeline, and product requirements.
  • Recommend products, materials, decoration methods, and production approaches that align with the client’s needs.
  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, samples, and product options.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and clients to move opportunities toward a decision.
  • Own assigned projects from the initial client conversation through final delivery.
  • Coordinate quoting, artwork, samples, approvals, purchase orders, production schedules, and delivery details.
  • Set clear client expectations regarding pricing, minimums, lead times, revisions, and production requirements.
  • Maintain accurate client records, project details, pricing information, and sales activity.
  • Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with creative, sourcing, production, operations, and logistics teams to keep projects moving.
  • Address project concerns promptly and support the resolution of production or delivery issues.
  • Follow up after delivery to confirm client satisfaction and identify reorder opportunities.
  • Turn successful one-off projects into recurring programs and long-term client relationships.
  • Meet individual sales, revenue, margin, and account-development goals.
  • Identify growing accounts that may be ready for larger strategic engagement.

Qualifications

Required 

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, account management, customer success, project coordination, or another client-facing role.
  • Proven record in establishing a sales pipeline and managing a sales funnel. 
  • Experience in promotional products, branded merchandise, apparel, fashion, textiles, printing, embroidery, or custom manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with cut-and-sew development and apparel production.
  • Knowledge of decoration methods such as screen printing, embroidery, heat transfer, sublimation, appliqué, and direct-to-garment printing.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, identify client needs, and guide opportunities toward a purchasing decision.
  • Ability to manage multiple client projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing specifications, quantities, pricing, artwork, and timelines.
  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prepare quotes, follow up on open opportunities, and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with creative, sourcing, production, and operations teams.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where project details and priorities may change.
  • Proficiency with standard business software and the ability to learn CRM, quoting, and project-management systems.
  • A proactive, accountable approach to both sales and client service.

Preferred

  • Established relationships with customers
  • Experience in promotional products, branded merchandise, apparel, fashion, textiles, printing, embroidery, or custom manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with cut-and-sew development and apparel production.
  • Knowledge of decoration methods such as screen printing, embroidery, heat transfer, sublimation, appliqué, and direct-to-garment printing.
  • Experience preparing estimates, quotes, proposals, or purchase orders.
  • Experience managing projects from discovery and quoting through production and delivery.
  • Familiarity with artwork approvals, samples, production lead times, minimum order quantities, and fulfillment.
  • Experience using CRM, order-management, or project-management software.
  • A track record of growing existing clients or turning one-time projects into repeat business.
  • Existing relationships with brands, businesses, agencies, or promotional-product distributors.

Compensation

  • Base salary: $50,000 - $55,000
  • Commission: Negotiable based on experience. 
  • Complete eligibility requirements, payment timing, qualifying revenue, and other commission terms will be detailed in the company’s written compensation plan.
