Our caring staff is dedicated to serving patients of all ages — from pediatrics to geriatrics — with a special focus on diabetic foot care and wound management.
Description
We are seeking a motivated, caring, entry-level Medical Assistant (new graduates or folks with less than two years of experience are welcome to apply!) to join our team.
In our office, medical assistants get a lot of great hands-on experience working closely with patients and physicians. Our MA's assist with procedures, do casting, take x-rays, perform wound care, and assist with charting.
The position starts at $13.00/hour base pay, with the opportunity for growth up to $15.00/hour within a 6-12 month timeframe. The increases in the position will be based on work performance, reliability, and effective communication.

This position is based in Southwest Austin. We also have an office in Dripping Springs. Staff are occasionally (less than 25% of the time) asked to work at either location, depending on business needs.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Completed Medical Assistant training and externship, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work well on a small team
- Great customer service skills and willingness to help
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience in podiatry, orthopedics, wound care, or skilled nursing facilities
- Extensive customer service experience on the phone and in person
- Radiology/X-ray tech experience
