Job description

Experience with livestock and agriculture is beneficial. This hourly paid position will require work in the warehouse as well as in the retail office. Repetitive lifting of up to 60 pounds and forklift operation will be involved. The regular work week will consist of 40 hours a week an occasional 5th day will be requested. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

Warehouse Worker Responsibilities:

• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment.
• Loading and unloading transport vehicles.
• Accepting delivery of inventory.
• Counting and confirming inventory.
• Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
• Communicating errors to relevant parties.
• Marking and labeling stock.
• Storing inventory in accessible manner.
• Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.
• Building loads with forklift and pallet jack.

Warehouse Worker Requirements:

• Ability to operate forklift proficiently.
• Completion of background investigation and drug screening.
• Strong people skills.
• Good moral character.
• Physically strong, agile and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
• Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
• Available to work extended hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $15.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
