About the Role

Southern Pines Recovery is a private, physician-led outpatient detox program serving the greater Evans and Augusta, GA area, offering the only service of its kind within 100 miles. We provide a medically safe way to manage withdrawal symptoms without requiring an overnight hospital stay, helping individuals begin sobriety with a strong clinical foundation. Care is delivered through scheduled appointments in a calm, discreet environment that allows participants to remain engaged in their personal and professional lives. We emphasize medical safety, family involvement, and comprehensive aftercare planning, working with most insurance plans and offering clear self-pay rates.

We're hiring 2-3 Registered Nurses for permanent weekend positions on our outpatient care team.


Schedule and Compensation


  • $38/hour
  • We're looking to hire quickly and are ready to onboard as soon as pre-employment screening is complete
  • Permanent, part-time weekend position: Saturday 7:45a-12:45p and Sunday 12:45p-5:45p
  • Typical cadence is currently 2 weekends per month; exact frequency will depend on team size and combined availability across hires, so this can flex for the right candidate
  • Option to also pick up weekday PRN shifts if it fits your availability
  • Required: one week of paid weekday (Mon-Fri) training prior to starting weekend shifts


What You'll Do


  • Provide direct patient care during outpatient detox appointments, including assessment of withdrawal symptoms, medication administration, and monitoring of vital signs and clinical status
  • Document nursing care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to implement individualized care plans
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
  • Offer education and support to patients and families regarding detox, safety, and ongoing recovery resources
  • Participate in care coordination and aftercare planning to promote continuity of care


Qualifications


  • Active RN license in Georgia and current BLS/CPR certification
  • Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and monitoring of withdrawal symptoms, preferably in behavioral health, addiction medicine, or acute care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and families and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Accurate documentation, adherence to clinical protocols, and attention to detail in a fast-paced outpatient environment
  • Commitment to ethical, nonjudgmental, trauma-informed care and maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity
  • Ability to manage multiple patients safely and remain calm during urgent situations
  • Experience in substance use treatment, detox, or mental health settings is highly beneficial; addiction nursing certifications are a plus

Salary

$38 - $38 per hour
