The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of service. This includes the restaurant dining room, in-room dining, bar and banquets. The Food and Beverage Manager achieves results by maximizing productivity of employees, planning, problem-solving, communicating, delegating and following up.



  • Budgeting the weekly expenses of the restaurant.
  • Ensure the team is upholding all food safety regulations.
  • Inspect and ensure work areas are safe and clean. 
  • Hire and develop new team members.
  • Manage a team of 40 people or more.
  • Providing the team with the essential tools to successfully do their job.
  • Effective and clear communication to the service managers and team. 
  • Set long term and short term goals. 
  • Meet financial goals for sales and expenses.
  • Order restaurant supplies.
  • Oversee inventory. 
  • Acknowledge guest issues and follow through on resolution.
  • Evolve and elevate training programs.
  • Focus on the guests' wants and needs. 
  • Create and welcome ideas from the team and suggestions from the guests. 
  • Evaluates and supervises performance and carries out corrective actions as needed.
  • Control all food and beverage costs.  
  • Maximizes food and beverage sales by identifying and targeting sales opportunities through marketing, including promotions, and special events.  
  • Communicates to other departments not related to F&B.  
  • Attends Banquet Event Order meetings.


High School Diploma or Equivalent Degree

5 Years of experience in Hospitality

2 Years of experience in Hospitality Management


$40,000 - $45,000 per year
