Location: Rural Oklahoma (Clinic-Based)

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Schedule: Weekdays (no nights or weekends)


Job Description


We are seeking a licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This role provides outpatient behavioral health services in a rural, integrated primary care setting, serving an underserved population.

This position is ideal for clinicians who value team-based care, trauma‑informed practice, and meaningful work in a rural community.


Responsibilities


  • Provide individual therapy for patients with substance use disorders
  • Deliver behavioral health services to patients participating in MAT programs (e.g., buprenorphine, naltrexone)
  • Complete assessments and progress notes
  • Collaborate with medical providers, nursing staff, and care coordinators
  • Provide relapse prevention, crisis intervention, and supportive counseling
  • Maintain documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Athena
  • Participate in case staffing, team meetings, and quality improvement activities


Qualifications


Required


  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Active Oklahoma license (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LADC, or comparable)
  • Experience working in an FQHC or integrated healthcare setting
  • Experience treating substance use disorders
  • Ability to work independently in a rural clinic environment


Preferred


  • MAT program experience
  • Co-occurring disorder treatment
  • Training in CBT, MI, or SBIRT
  • Bilingual (Spanish a plus)
