What We’re Looking For

As a Technical Product Manager at Source, you will be at the forefront of developing and refining our software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of both the technical and business aspects of product management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and customer support, to deliver products that meet the needs of our users and drive the growth of our business. The position is a full time, remote salary position. Candidate can be based anywhere in the US. Salary range is $125K-$140K.

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, aligning with the overall business goals and market trends in the FF&E hospitality sector. A high level of coordination with the CEO on product strategy, this role will be 30% strategy and 70% execution.
• Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on customer needs, market research, and business objectives.
• Technical Leadership: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the successful implementation of product features, providing technical guidance and ensuring alignment with the product vision.
• User-Centric Design: Collaborate with the design team to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring a seamless experience for interior designers and hotel owners using our platform.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring products meet quality standards and deliver value to our users.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to inform product decisions, track performance, and drive continuous improvement.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a software development environment.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
• Proven experience in developing and launching successful software products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Familiarity with the hospitality industry, specifically FF&E procurement, is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
