The Role
As a Safety Tech at SOS SAFETY CONSULTING LLC, you will be responsible for supporting safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with various teams to promote a culture of safety and mitigate risks in the workplace.
What You'll Do
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Assist in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices and protocols.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety across the organization.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a safety-related role or similar position.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Strong observational and analytical skills to identify risks.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey safety information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
MUST Have
- Certification in safety management or related field.
- 3 years or more Experience with safety training and program development and a CHST
- Familiarity with safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
