We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on commercial settings.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness in all areas.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
• Handle custodial duties including waste disposal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the overall upkeep of the premises.
• Respond to cleaning emergencies promptly to address spills or other urgent issues.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to complete larger cleaning projects or special requests from management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Skills in porter services or facilities maintenance are advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is beneficial but not required.
• Can lift at least 25 Ibs
• Can be on your feet, and perform a number of physical movements for extended periods of time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.25 per hour
