Position Overview:

SolarForce is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Canvass Lead to spearhead our field marketing and lead generation efforts. The Canvass Lead will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of canvassers to generate high-quality leads for our solar solutions. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Team Leadership and Management:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of canvassers to achieve lead generation targets.
  • Develop schedules, assign territories, and ensure effective coverage of designated areas.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to meet or exceed performance goals.
  1. Lead Generation Strategy:
  • Plan and execute door-to-door canvassing campaigns to generate qualified leads for solar energy solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate canvassing activities to optimize results.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs of high-quality leads.
  1. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Track team performance metrics and provide regular reports to management.
  • Use data insights to refine canvassing strategies and improve team effectiveness.
  1. Customer Engagement:
  • Represent SolarForce professionally and positively in interactions with potential customers.
  • Educate homeowners and businesses about the benefits of solar energy and SolarForce’s offerings.
  • Address initial questions or objections and build trust with potential customers.
  1. Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure all canvassing activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Promote a safe and respectful work environment for the team.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in canvassing, field marketing, or sales.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and performance tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of the solar industry and renewable energy (preferred but not required).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
