Job Purpose and Overview:  

A Campus Minister is responsible for inviting students to discover God’s dream for their lives by providing them with experiences that facilitate a Jesus centered community, engagement with questions of faith and life, and living justly in the world.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leadership
• Recruit student leaders to enable progress toward goals and objectives
• Cultivate a healthy and effective ministry for students
• Team
• Execute and implement vision within a team ministry approach 
• Cultivate and develop partnerships that enable progress toward goals and objectives.
• Execute the team roles and responsibilities developed with the Team Lead
• Ministry
• Execute a personal development plan and maintain healthy personal faith rhythms
• Communicate effectively with students, partners, and teammates
• Fundraising
• Applicant will be responsible for raising financial support for the agreed upon contracted amount
• Applicant may also be asked to raise financial support for their campus team

• Qualifications
• Is over the age of 21
• Experience as a resident, intern, or in student leadership with Sojourn is a plus
• Experience in campus ministry is a plus
• BSc/BA degree is a plus
