Job Title: VP of Operations/Chief of Staff


Position Overview Art Pharmacy is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Head of Operations/Chief of Staff to support the CEO and manage the day-to-day operations of our growing healthcare start-up. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Operations/Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in driving cross-functional alignment, working with the leadership team, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic priorities. This position requires a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and a proactive problem-solver with a passion for fostering company culture and driving organizational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership Team Management:

  • Serve as a central point of coordination for the leadership team, ensuring alignment with company priorities and the CEO’s vision.
  • Organize and facilitate leadership meetings, including setting agendas, documenting decisions, and tracking follow-ups.
  • Monitor progress on leadership initiatives and ensure accountability for key deliverables.


2. Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee and optimize day-to-day operations to ensure seamless execution across all departments.
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, enabling efficient workflows and decision-making.
  • Implement and maintain project management tools and processes to drive team efficiency.


3. Strategic Project Execution:

  • Lead and manage high-priority strategic projects on behalf of the CEO.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives that align with the company’s goals.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making.


4. Trusted Advisor to the CEO:

  • Act as a sounding board for the CEO, providing insights and advice on organizational challenges and opportunities.
  • Represent the CEO in meetings and communications, as needed.
  • Prepare briefing materials and summaries for internal and external engagements.


5. Culture and Team Engagement:

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing company culture in collaboration with the CEO and leadership team.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance team engagement, collaboration, and morale.
  • Champion company values and ensure they are reflected in all aspects of the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, etc.) preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in operations, strategy, project management, or related roles.
  • Experience in early stage growth start-up.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a track record of driving results.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a detail-oriented approach to execution.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.

Salary

$110,000 - $135,000 per year
