Art Pharmacy is focused on expanding and scaling social prescribing in the United States by, first, partnering with arts and cultural experiences within an individual's community and then working to provide access to these services directly to the individual. Art Pharmacy’s Care Navigator team is responsible for ensuring Art Pharmacy’s program and services are delivered thoughtfully and in a timely manner to all members they support. Care Navigators are the main point of contact for Art Pharmacy members throughout their journey in the program. Care Navigators serve as the link between the individual and their arts and culture engagements. Care Navigators do not provide clinical care to members; however, team members tend to have a healthcare and/or clinical background.
They serve a variety of individuals in terms of ages, needs, and levels of support. The Care Navigator builds strong relationships with referred members to help them connect with health-improving arts and culture engagements.
