At Social Cantina, we bring bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and a fun, high-energy vibe to everything we do. We’re looking for an Hourly Kitchen Manager who’s ready to lead from the line, support the team, and help deliver the food quality and consistency our guests know and love.

What you’ll do


Bring the food to life

  • Execute Social Cantina’s menu with consistency, speed, and attention to detail
  • Ensure every dish meets our standards for quality, freshness, and presentation
  • Keep a pulse on guest feedback and help identify opportunities to improve


Lead the kitchen team

  • Support hiring efforts and help build a strong, reliable kitchen team
  • Assist with scheduling to ensure the right coverage for every shift
  • Train and coach team members on recipes, systems, and food safety
  • Create a positive, accountable, team-first environment


Keep the kitchen running strong

  • Assist with inventory counts, ordering, and product organization
  • Help manage food cost by minimizing waste and following systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen at all times


Own food safety and standards

  • Follow and enforce all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures
  • Hold the team accountable to doing things the right way, every time


Drive the shift

  • Lead from the line and jump in wherever needed
  • Partner with the front-of-house team to keep service smooth and timely
  • Help solve problems in the moment and keep the team focused and on track


Support the full restaurant when needed

  • Step in to assist front-of-house operations if a manager isn’t present
  • Help ensure every guest has a great experience from start to finish


What we’re looking for

  • 1–3 years of kitchen leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety
  • A hands-on leader who leads by example and stays engaged with the team
  • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and team mindset
  • ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Salary

$20 - $22 per hour
