This is a hands-on leadership role—you’ll be right alongside the team, helping wherever needed while setting the standard for great service, teamwork, and execution. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead shifts and help keep the team focused, motivated, and working together
- Help train new team members on our standards, expectations, and procedures
- Coach team members in real time and provide helpful, respectful feedback
- Lead by example and step in wherever the team needs support
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and high-energy work environment
- Communicate team concerns, performance issues, and wins to management
Guest Experience
- Help create memorable guest experiences through great service and hospitality
- Check in with guests and quickly address questions or concerns
- Support the team during busy periods to keep service moving smoothly
- Maintain clean, welcoming, and organized guest areas
- Know the menu and help guests with recommendations when needed
Safety & Compliance
- Follow and reinforce food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Help ensure team members are following company policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the shift
- Identify and report equipment, maintenance, or safety concerns to management
Shift Operations
- Help open and/or close the restaurant according to established procedures
- Support smooth communication between the front and back of house
- Help coordinate food orders, timing, and presentation so everything comes out right—everyone helps in the kitchen when needed, regardless of their primary department
- Monitor the flow of the shift and adjust team assignments as needed
- Assist with inventory counts, stocking, and receiving deliveries as assigned
- Help reduce waste and protect company products, equipment, and resources
- Complete assigned shift paperwork, checklists, and other operational responsibilities
📝 Requirements (A.K.A. The Basics)
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
- Previous leadership or shift-lead experience is a plus
- Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Certified in responsible alcohol service and hold any required state-specific licenses, if applicable
- ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain required certification
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of restaurant operations, including standing for extended periods and assisting throughout the restaurant
- Willingness to learn, grow, and take on additional leadership responsibilities
