Arrange or organize schedules for clients and/or patients in line with healthcare plans and availability of healthcare personnel that will attend to them
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced patient scheduler with a background in home health or outpatient therapy scheduling. As a member of our exceptional team, the ideal candidate will possess the same qualities as our current staff, including being diligent, forward-thinking, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a variety of tasks with precision and enthusiasm. This role will involve managing a busy schedule, handling a high volume of phone calls and texts related to patient/therapist schedule modifications. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently and implementing new systems and strategies to optimize efficiency.

Responsibilities will include:
- Creating and maintaining schedules for our therapist staff
- Coordinating and organizing schedules for clients and patients based on healthcare plans and the availability of healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate statistics and reports related to staff and patients
- Ensuring client and staff information is properly entered and updated in our database
- Managing information databases containing details of both staff and clients
- Communicating with healthcare providers, staff, and clients regarding daily schedule changes
- Building professional relationships with clients and staff to ensure excellent service delivery
- Participating in activities and programs aimed at enhancing the quality of our services
- Maintaining and ensuring accuracy of scheduling systems
- Respecting patient confidentiality and maintaining their privacy
- Keeping the team manager informed of any conflicts or issues related to schedules
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional care
- Excellent coordination and analytical abilities
- Attention to detail to avoid and resolve conflicting schedules
- Ability to work well within a team or take the lead when necessary
- At least one year at current position
