Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at a BCBA-owned center that serves early learners and that specializes in Skill-based Treatment, located in Milford, CT. We focus on teaching functional skills such as functional communication, toleration, and contextually appropriate behaviors to reduce challenging behaviors, while always following the principles of compassionate care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children and those on the autism spectrum. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote positive behavioral changes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
  • Collect and analyze data to track progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Provide training and support to staff on behavior management techniques and best practices.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of client information.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health and special education.

Requirements

  • Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
  • Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children.
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes for behavioral health issues.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis related to behavioral interventions.
  • Understanding of special education principles and practices is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • 25 billable hour weekly requirement

Pay: $80,000.00+
