Snohomish Pest Control is hiring an experienced Operations Manager to help lead field service, customer experience, scheduling support, technician standards, inventory, and day-to-day operations for a growing local pest control company. Operations Manager - Pest Control
Snohomish Pest Control is looking for an experienced pest control professional to help lead day-to-day operations for a growing local company.
We are a locally owned pest control company serving Snohomish County and surrounding areas. Our focus is honest service, quality work, clear communication, and taking great care of our customers. We are looking for someone who can help lead both the field and operational side of the business as we continue to grow.
This is not just a route technician position. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with pest control experience, management ability, and the desire to help build a strong, consistent team.
Compensation
Salary range: $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience and fit.
Compensation may include a base salary plus performance-based bonus opportunities tied to service quality, customer satisfaction, route execution, team leadership, recurring service growth, and overall operational impact.
About the Role
The Operations Manager will help oversee field service, technician standards, scheduling support, customer experience, inventory, equipment, and daily operational follow-through.
This person will still perform pest control services in the field, but the goal of the role is bigger than running a route. We are looking for someone who can help prevent problems, support the office, lead technicians, and make sure customers are taken care of well.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial pest control services
- Lead by example in the field with high-quality service and customer communication
- Help keep daily schedules on track
- Support office communication and coordination as needed
- Help train and support technicians
- Maintain truck cleanliness, equipment standards, and inventory levels
- Read job notes before service and complete clear service reports
- Handle customer questions and service concerns professionally
- Identify recurring service opportunities
- Ask satisfied customers for reviews
- Help prevent callbacks, missed details, and operational surprises
- Communicate supply needs, scheduling issues, and customer concerns early
- Help build systems that make the company more consistent and less owner-dependent
Requirements
- Active Washington State pesticide license
- Pest control field experience
- Experience managing, leading, or helping operate a pest control company
- Strong knowledge of residential pest control
- Rodent control experience
- Strong customer communication skills
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable working in crawlspaces and performing hands-on pest control work
- Organized, dependable, and able to follow through
- Able to lead technicians and uphold service standards
- Comfortable working with both field staff and office staff
Who We Are Looking For
The right person is experienced, steady, honest, organized, and good with people.
We are looking for someone who understands that great pest control is not just about treating pests. It is about earning trust, communicating clearly, solving problems, and taking care of customers well.
You should be comfortable leading from the field, setting the standard for other technicians, supporting the office team, and helping prevent problems before they reach the owner.
Long-Term Growth Opportunity
For the right person, this role has the potential to grow into a larger leadership position such as General Manager, Branch Manager, Operating Partner, or future ownership opportunity.
Any ownership path would be earned over time and based on proven performance, leadership, customer trust, operational responsibility, and the ability to reduce owner involvement. It is not automatic and would be clearly outlined in writing before any ownership transition begins.
We are looking for someone who wants to help build a serious, long-term local pest control company and is willing to carry real responsibility as the company grows.
