SMJ Communications has an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with exceptional writing, communication and project management skills to support our growing client base. The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the oversight and execution of daily project management tasks. The Project Manager will report directly to the Director of Project Management, helping to oversee client satisfaction, team priorities, client communication and project management tasks in Monday.

Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively support the management assigned account Monday boards.
  • Work with account directors and account teams to track progress on projects, tasks, and deliverables on assigned  accounts.
  • Course correct account issues, challenges, capacity concerns, and risks of not meeting deadlines or providing an excellent deliverable before flagging for the Director of Project Management.
  • Join client check-ins and touchpoints, capturing notes, next steps, key tasks and more for assigned accounts.
  • Send next steps/notes to clients after each client check-in call.
  • Update and/or add tasks, deliverables and deadlines to each client’s Monday board.
  • Ensure account directors and the support teams are on task and aware of upcoming deadlines and tasks.
  • Help to problem solve or provide support for client challenges, requests and tasks, as needed before escalating to the Director of Project Management.
  • Ensure expectations are met and feedback is reflected before deliverables are shared with the VP and/or client for review.
  • Provide the Director of Project Management with daily updates on accounts progress and proactively flag any concerns.
  • Develop and send assigned client check-in call agendas.
  • Develop and send assigned client weekly recaps.
  • Lead project management efforts to ensure the team completes assigned client deliverables on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Liaise with the team to facilitate project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and address issues that arise via proper communication and escalation.
  • Provide timely and thorough communication to project stakeholders ensuring that appropriate collaboration is taking place.
  • Use project management techniques to help guide projects to successful completion.
  • Use tools to monitor and control performance and plans.
  • Outline tasks involved in the project and delegate accordingly.
  • Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project. 
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members regarding client needs.
