Do you love working with young children? Are you looking for a part time schedule that leaves time for life?

SME Music is looking for teachers to join our amazing staff of part time educators for 2024 and beyond! Hours offered average between 10 to no more than 25 hours per week.

Our instructors provide music education classes for children ranging in age from newborns to 7 years old in a variety of group and private settings. Our teachers work part time flexible hours mornings and early afternoons Monday through Friday. Training is provided as you will learn our custom books, songs, activities, and our unique teaching style. Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations across the DFW area.

Sheila's Musical Expressions became a living reality in May of 2004 after many years of teaching children in a variety of different settings. Our founder had a clearly defined mission to dedicate the rest of her life empowering children to achieve their greatest potential through the benefits of music and movement.

Prayerfully, with 6 little children, SME Music’s journey began and my dream flourished. Today, over 2000 children are inspired with the joy of music weekly throughout the metroplex.

Our classes are designed to be multi-sensory, providing a positive, non-threatening learning environment where children can freely express their ideas and achieve mastery in music.
