SmallTalk Pediatric Therapy is seeking a full-time COTA (32–40 hrs/week) to join our supportive, therapist-owned pediatric practice. You’ll work with children ages 0–18, provide high-quality therapy under OT supervision, and collaborate with families for the best outcomes. SmallTalk Pediatric Therapy is San Diego’s BEST outpatient pediatric speech and occupational therapy company — and we’re looking for an energetic, fun-loving Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team!
We’re therapist-owned, therapist-run, and located in convenient suburban San Diego. We serve children ages 0–18 with a wide variety of diagnoses and needs, and we work closely with families to ensure faster, lasting progress.

What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy under the supervision of an OT
- Step in for coverage when clinicians are out or families reschedule
- Support children ages 0–18 through play-based, goal-oriented interventions
- Complete accurate daily SOAP notes and documentation
- Collaborate with supervising OTs, families, and teammates
What We’re Looking For
- Licensed COTA in California
- Minimum 1 years of pediatric experience
- Positive, outgoing personality and love for kids
- Organized, detail-oriented, and computer literate
- True team player who values collaboration
