WHAT YOU'LL DO

Inspire Creativity

Teach engaging art and pottery classes for children ages 3–13 including painting, drawing, mixed media, clay hand-building, and pottery wheel throwing. Adult workshops are occasionally offered as well.

Create Memorable Experiences

Guide joyful, hands-on projects that encourage imagination, independence, and confidence while helping students bring their ideas to life.

Work in a Collaborative Teaching Team

We use a supportive co-teaching model where instructors collaborate to ensure every class runs smoothly and every student has a positive experience.

Maintain a Clean Studio Environment

Assist with setup, cleanup, and organization of materials. Expect standing for extended periods, light lifting and frequent sweeping and mopping - keeping our studios tidy is important to us and you must share that value.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

At Small Hands Big Art we provide real art instruction—not simply supervising crafts. Our instructors guide thoughtful, developmentally appropriate projects that help children build artistic skills, creative confidence, and problem-solving abilities over time.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Make a Real Impact

Help children develop creativity, confidence, and self-expression through art.

Supportive Team Environment

Our instructors collaborate, encourage each other, and share ideas to make every class successful.

Creative, Joyful Workplace

Our studio is full of color, creativity, laughter, and proud young artists. We are looking for someone who elevates that vibe and exudes energy, enthusiasm and a love of children!
