**Responsibilities:**

- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various types of lawn equipment, including but not limited to lawn mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and other outdoor power equipment.

- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used, time spent, and customer communication.

- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair recommendations, costs, and estimated completion times.

- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical assistance and product knowledge to customers in-store or over the phone.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and guidelines for equipment handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

- Assist with inventory management by keeping track of spare parts, tools, and supplies needed for repairs.

- Provide training and guidance to less experienced technicians when necessary.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or certification in small engine repair or a related field is preferred.

- Proven experience as a service technician working with lawn equipment or small engines.

- Strong understanding of two-stroke and four-stroke engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and other mechanical components commonly found in lawn equipment.

- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and specialized equipment for repairs.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues.

- Customer-focused with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time to meet repair deadlines.

- Physical stamina and dexterity to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions.

- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to equipment repair.
