Description
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service as they inquire about parts and accessories for their lawn equipment.
- Utilize parts catalogs, electronic databases, and manufacturer resources to assist customers in finding the correct parts.
- Provide recommendations for compatible products and upgrades, helping customers enhance the performance and longevity of their equipment.
- Maintain a well-organized and tidy parts counter area, ensuring all parts are labeled, categorized, and easily accessible.
- Work closely with the service technicians to fulfill parts requests for repairs and maintenance projects.
- Provide accurate record-keeping of customer interactions, orders, and inquiries.
- Uphold a high standard of customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, reordering parts, and ensuring availability.
- Collaborate with the sales and service teams to provide comprehensive solutions to customer needs.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in retail, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in a parts counter or similar environment.
- In-depth knowledge of lawn equipment parts, components, and accessories.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in an understandable manner.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems or inventory management software.
