About the Role

We’re looking for a strong Staff or Senior Accountant to join our team as we continue to grow.

This is not a typical bookkeeping role. You will work directly with clients, take ownership of key areas of their accounting, and help improve systems and processes as their businesses scale.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and maintain client financials (primarily in Xero)
• Perform month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements
• Clean up and improve messy books and accounting processes
• Work directly with clients to support their accounting needs
• Assist with implementing systems and improving efficiency (including tools like Ramp)
• Support accruals, adjusting entries, and proper period cutoffs
• Help ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across client accounts

What We’re Looking For

• 2–6 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (accruals, reconciliations, financial statements)
• Ability to think critically and solve problems, not just process transactions
• Comfortable working directly with clients
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to take ownership and work with minimal supervision

Nice to Have

• Experience with Xero or similar systems
• Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses
• Interest in improving processes, systems, or automation

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
