We’re looking for an up-and-coming graphic designer who loves their craft and is constantly searching for ways to learn and grow. Wanting to help find the best solution and proactively bring ideas, even beyond what a client or team member asked for. You must truly enjoy collaboration—you will work closely and frequently with our account and creative teams. We need a designer who can clearly and persuasively explain their design choices but also be receptive to feedback when we need to go in a different direction.

Description

Our graphic designers are detail-oriented and manage their workload effectively, setting timelines and meeting them. You must be able to work quickly without cutting corners. Our agency works on a wide variety of projects but a strong digital portfolio is essential for this role. 


Previous agency experience is preferred but not required. 


In this role, you must be able to:

  • Translate data and insights into easy-to-understand design concepts
  • Create thoughtful and attractive designs ready for implementation
  • Deliver clean, visually consistent designs on time  
  • Regularly present and share design decisions and conceptual direction with internal teams and clients, as needed
  • Collaborate with your design peers and provide thoughtful feedback and discussion
  • Work closely with development partners and external teams to align on feasibility and development limitations
  • Create compelling and professional presentation decks, proposals, and other client-facing collateral


What you’ll bring with you:

  • 4-year design education or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of experience is preferred
  • Portfolio or case studies, including digital and print production 
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills are required
  • Strong competency with Adobe Suite design programs and familiarity with other software such as but not limited to Google Suite (Google Slides), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint), Canva, Figma, email marketing platforms, website CMS, etc. 
  • Basic animation knowledge (experience with AfterEffects or Premiere is a plus)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

Experience:

  • 1-2 years, preferably in a PR/marketing/advertising agency or related consulting agency setting
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset 


Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


Location: Virtual position with periodic travel to Columbus, Ohio and/or client location. As a remote position, final location eligibility is reviewed on a case-by-case basis during the interview process.



Salary

$50,000 - $55,000 per year
