As the Assistant Manager at Slark's Tire & Service Center, you'll play a key role in the daily operations of our shop by supporting the Shop Manager, assisting customers, coordinating vehicle repairs, ordering parts, and ensuring every customer receives exceptional service. We're looking for a dependable, organized individual with automotive knowledge who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in helping both customers and teammates succeed.

Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Shop Manager with daily operations and administrative duties
  • Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Answer incoming phone calls and schedule repair appointments
  • Listen to customer concerns and help coordinate appropriate vehicle repairs
  • Order, track, and return automotive parts
  • Monitor repair progress and provide customers with timely updates
  • Process repair orders, invoices, and customer payments
  • Communicate repair information between customers, technicians, and management
  • Enter and maintain accurate customer and vehicle information in our management software
  • Assist with inventory, organization, and other operational tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Automotive repair and parts knowledge is required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using computers and learning shop management software
  • Dependable with excellent attendance
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support the entire team
