Our mission is to redefine the pet travel experience by offering convenient, crowdfunded charters and building a community of passionate pet owners. As we develop our platform, we’re looking for an ambitious intern to support the CEO directly during this exciting startup phase.


Job Overview


As the Intern Assistant to the CEO, you will work closely with the CEO to assist in the daily planning and execution of key tasks that will help shape the future of Skytails. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in the development and growth of a unique startup in the luxury travel and pet industries.


Key Responsibilities



Administrative Support: Assist with managing the CEO’s schedule, coordinating meetings, and handling email communications.

Project Coordination: Help organize and track strategic projects, including product development, partnership negotiations, and market research.

Research: Conduct research related to industry trends, competitive analysis, and business development opportunities.

Document Preparation: Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and documents for key business meetings.

Communication: Help draft correspondence, memos, and content for internal and external stakeholders.

Meeting Support: Attend virtual meetings, take notes, and ensure follow-up on action items.

Creative Input: Provide feedback and ideas during brainstorming sessions for marketing, product development, and community engagement strategies.


Requirements


Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.

Availability: Must be available to work part-time (approximately 10-15 hours per week), with a flexible schedule.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with remote working tools like Zoom, Slack, and Google Workspace.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring accuracy in tasks such as document preparation and research.

Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

Interest in the Pet Industry: A passion for pets and an understanding of the pet owner community is a plus.

Adaptability: Comfortable working in an evolving environment as Skytails is in the early stages of development.
