Skyliner Truck Center is seeking an Experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team as a full-time employee. As a diesel mechanic, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of issues related to diesel engines, ensuring that our fleet of trucks and vehicles are operating at their best.

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and brake adjustments

- Inspect and test vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards

- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed

- Communicate effectively with team members and management to prioritize work and meet deadlines

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic

- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Certification from a diesel mechanic program is a plus

Salary Range: $25 to $37 per hour
